This program follows a day in the life of 11 year-old Celia who lives with her aunts in a village in East Timor, so she can attend the nearby school. Her activities in the home, around the village and at school provide an insight into village culture and traditions, and the hard work undertaken by both children and adults on a daily basis. There is no reference to political issues or recent unrest and turmoil. Chapters can be accessed individually.
Program support notes included.
