Australian Atomic Confessions reveals the impact on Australia of the first British atomic bomb tests at Monte Bello Island in the early 1950s, to present day nuclear threats. Fifty years later, nomadic Aboriginal survivors, military servicemen and experts reveal the true story of the tests, government betrayal, the conflict of cultures and ongoing consequences to the land and people. This documentary also examines current uranium mining practices, the uranium industry, and current Federal Government policies regarding the nuclear industry in Australia in 2005.
