Brisbane Dreaming: The Aboriginal History of Brisbane

Resource Details: Produced by Video Education Australasia,
Australia, 1995, 50 minutes.

Frank Warrick presents the fascinating history of the Indigenous people of the Brisbane area. He examines not only the cultural lifestyle of these people before the coming of non-Indigenous people, but also the injustices committed against them at the hands of the European settlers. As well, he takes us to some of the Indigenous archaeological sites around Brisbane and presents a number of the oral legends passed down through generations.
