Look Global aims to give students a better understanding of global issues. It investigates a range of contemporary topics and provides students with some insights into cultures other than their own. Units and activities are readily adaptable to teacher and student needs. Photocopiable handouts are included as well as a resource and reference section. Topics include: The World’s People, Family and Celebrations, Food, Water and Hunger, The Rights and Responsibilities for All People, The United Nations, International Aid and Cooperation, and A Focus on Children at School, Home, Work and at War including refugee children.
