Established in 1986, the Global Learning Centre is a not-for-profit, community organisation providing professional support and resources to in-service and pre-service teachers, other educators and the general public.

It consists of a public library based on the values of social justice, peace, and ecologically sustainable development, and includes books, DVDs and Videos, music CDs, posters, Big Books, games, software, and resource kits available for borrowing. There are also a number of sales resources available.
